Center for Nonprofit Resources Informational Session

The Community Partnership, Toledo Community Foundation, Inc., and United Way of Greater Toledo are joining forces to create a system of capacity building to be known as “The Center for Nonprofit Resources.”

A Request for Proposal has been offered to local nonprofits for capacity building grants. $50,000 in grants is available for capacity building initiatives including:

  • Organizational assessment, evaluation of overall effectiveness and strategic planning
  • Board and/or staff development such as training, workshops, conferences and leadership development
  • Fund development planning such as revenue diversification and major donor campaigns
  • Succession planning
  • External communications strategies
  • Technology improvements such as computer and software upgrades, Internet advocacy or new equipment
  • Financial management systems such as audits and development of financial procedures
  • Program evaluation and measurement systems
  • Human resource policies and procedures
