gets “InCahoots” with the
Northwest Ohio Region

The Ohio Youth
Partnership called for groups throughout Ohio to host regional “InCahoots”
meetings to begin the process of partnering around the topic of respect and
tolerance. Toledo PRIDE an alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention program,
Teen Institute Leaders Team the youth voice of The Community Partnership, along
with a youth representative of the Coalition for Youth Enrichment (CYE) a youth
serving committee of The Community Partnership, wrote for and received a grant
to host an InCahoots meeting.

This year InCahoots is tackling the issue of "Healthy Relationships."
Current InCahoots groups include: Adelante, Inc., Teen Outreach Program (TOP) group of the YWCA, Ottawa County Youth Leadership Team, Toledo PRIDE, youth from UMADAOP and The Community Partnership’s Teen Institute Leader’s Team.
These groups have teamed up with The PEACE Project to put on a video contest and film festival to promote healthy relationships and caution youth about dating violence. The groups are working on planning, promoting the event as well as producing videos for the film festival.
